Ashley Peoples, JD

Corporate Counsel, CTEH

Ashley Peoples is an accomplished legal professional renowned for her expertise in contract negotiation, litigation, construction law, and employment law. With nearly 14 years of experience at the esteemed Little Rock law firm, Newland & Associates, PLLC, Ashley recently assumed the role of Corporate Counsel at CTEH. Her career is defined by a blend of scientific prowess and legal acumen, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas before obtaining a J.D. with honors from the William H. Bowen School of Law.

Throughout her career, she’s not only excelled in courtroom advocacy, successfully trying numerous jury cases, but also demonstrated a commitment to alternative dispute resolution as a Certified Mediator recognized by the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. Active in both professional and community spheres, Ashley has served in various leadership capacities, including Vice President of the Student Bar Association during law school and membership on the Central Council of the Arkansas Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors. Her contributions to the legal field were further acknowledged with the prestigious Arkansas Life Magazine Readers’ Choice 2019 Top Attorney award, solidifying Ashley’s reputation as a respected figure in the legal community.
