Mike Celente, MS

Senior Consultant & Air Quality Scientist

Mike Celente, MS, is a senior consultant for CTEH, based in New Mexico. His practice focuses on air quality with specialties in air dispersion modeling; emissions calculation and characterization; regulatory applicability and compliance; and permit negotiations. He has worked with clients in multiple industries including oil and gas, aggregate handling, healthcare, mining, and general manufacturing. Mr. Celente has extensive project management experience including the submittal of hundreds of permit applications to various state and federal regulatory agencies. His permitting experience includes New Source Review (NSR), Title V, and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) including the development of Best Available Control Technology (BACT) analyses. In addition to permitting experience, Mr. Celente has a background in compliance auditing and has completed environmental audits for over a hundred facilities in various states.

Mr. Celente received a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Energy Systems Engineering and Sustainable Development, both from Lehigh University. His graduate research focused on indoor air quality in healthcare facilities, specifically potential exposure to volatile organic compounds.
